Reading:

It is our expectation that you continue to read for 20 minutes 4 times a week a minimum, and record this in your reading record book.  We have a reader of the week competition to help promote reading in our classroom, the winner of this will be someone who has either read a lot, shown particular perseverance when reading, or someone who has really shone with their reading. You should complete a book review when you finish a book and complete an AR quiz if there is one.

Spellings:

Weekly spellings will also be provided for the children to complete on purple mash, and whilst time will be given in class to practice, it is our expectation that the children practice these at home as well.

Maths:

We will also be using Purple Mash to consolidate learning of maths. We will continue to utilise Google Classroom for revision at home and any missed lessons.
